4 Day Amazon Adventure Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Napo Cultural Center and First Amazon Adventure

After a scenic flight and transfer to the Napo Cultural Center, explore the Kichwa Añangu Community and settle into your rainforest-view room. Enjoy an afternoon of birdwatching from an observation tower or a relaxing kayak ride along the Napo River, followed by a delicious dinner.

Day 2: Parrot Clay Licks and Kichwa Culture

Begin the day with a motorized canoe trip to the Parrot Clay Lick, observing colorful parrots and parakeets in their natural habitat. Continue with a visit to the Kuri Muyu center to learn about Kichwa culture, followed by a boat excursion along Añangu Creek to spot wildlife like monkeys and caimans, and a night walk to discover nocturnal creatures.

Day 3: Kichwa Culture, Wildlife Trekking, and Traditional Amazonian Experiences

Start the day with a sunrise breakfast followed by a visit to sustainable community projects and a walk through the terra firme forest to observe unique wildlife and plants. After lunch and a rest, enjoy a hike to the second observation tower for excellent birdwatching, then unwind with a traditional Amazonian dinner before embarking on a cultural evening aboard a catamaran, learning Kichwa legends and enjoying roasted snacks by the fire.

Day 4: Guayusada Ritual and Farewell to the Amazon

Begin the day with the mystical guayusada ritual, where the Kichwa family shares their sacred guayusa drink, and you can listen to traditional songs or have your dreams interpreted. After breakfast, relax as your luggage is prepared for the return journey, and enjoy a final scenic boat ride through the Ecuadorian jungle before reaching El Coca.
