2-DAY ADVENTURE ITINERARY

Day 1: Cotopaxi National Park Biking Adventure
Embark on an unforgettable adventure starting with a scenic drive from Quito to the majestic Cotopaxi National Park, where you will ascend to the highest point of the tour at an altitude of 4,800 meters (15,000 feet). Then, the real excitement begins as we set off cycling along the picturesque plains at the base of the volcano. The route takes you on single tracks through a fascinating mix of volcanic ash and páramo landscapes, offering a truly immersive experience.

One of the highlights of the journey is a visit to a pristine freshwater spring, where you’ll have the chance to drink some of the purest and most refreshing water you’ve ever tasted, straight from the source. As you pedal through this breathtaking terrain, keep an eye out for the majestic Andean condor and other local wildlife. The ride culminates at the serene Limpiopungo Lake, a perfect spot to reflect on the day’s adventure. From there, we’ll relax and unwind during a drive to the city of Ambato, where you’ll spend the night in preparation for the next day’s exploration.

Day 2: Quilotoa Crater and Highlands Ride
Start your day hiking to the stunning jade-green Quilotoa Crater Lake, with its shifting turquoise hues. After exploring the lakeside, return to the rim, optionally on a mule, and enjoy a hearty breakfast. Bike downhill to Zumbahua, passing rugged landscapes, stopping for a picnic, and connecting with local Quechua culture. After lunch, descend from a high-altitude pass-through Andean valleys and terraced fields, ending in Latacunga. Conclude the adventure with a scenic drive back to Quito.
